For a good and fast snack we suggest today our crackers without yeast.

Obviously, they are much more digestible than what you find on the market. An healthy snack for children, for people on diet or for who do not want to give up bread and who may even want something crunchy and different with cold cuts and cheeses.

The version we propose is made with flax seeds, which we like so much.

But you can try yourself with different decorations and tastes to add before cooking as a topping of your crackers.

 230 g flour 0
 120 g semolina
 100 g flax seed
 200 g warm water
 3 big spoons of olive oil
 1 teaspoon of honey
 salt

First, add the two flours and the flax seeds.
Add the salt and mix together.

Put the oil and honey into the mixture and stir.
Then add the water to the mixture and mix by hand until the dough is beautifully elastic.
Next, wrap the ball in a plastic wrap and leave it to rest at least half an hour at room temperature.

After the rest time, roll out the dough with a rolling pin, as you do with pizza. Use some flour in this operation to ensure that the dough does not stick to the table and the rolling pin.
Cut rectangular strips, depending on the size you want.
Place them on a baking sheet and brush them with oil.
Above you can put coarse salt or without adding anything cook the silliest crackers.
Bake for 15/20 minutes at 200 ° C.
